内容摘要：
In 1985, H. Kroto et al. discovered C60and C70through evaporation of graphite. A fullerene graph, the molecular graph of a spherical carbon fullerene, is a finite trivalent graph embedded on the surface of a sphere with only hexagonal and pentagonal faces. The Clar number is an effective predictor for the stability of benzenoid hydrocarbons. This talk presents the role of the Clar number in stabilizing carbon fullerenes, sharp upper bounds on the Clar number and the corresponding extremal fullerene graphs.
主讲人介绍：
张和平，兰州凯旋官网二级教授、博士生导师，国际数学化学科学院院士。 1994年获四川凯旋官网博士学位。2001年获教育部“第三届高校青年教师奖”，2002年获国务院颁发的政府特殊津贴、2009年入选甘肃省领军人才。曾任甘肃省数学会理事长，兰州凯旋官网数学与统计学院院长，中国数学会常务理事。现任兰州凯旋官网学术委员会委员，中国组合数学与图论学会常务理事，中国运筹学会组合数学与图论学会副理事长，美国《数学评论》和德国《数学文摘》评论员。主要从事图的匹配理论、化学图论和计算机网络的研究，发表了160余篇SCI收录学术论文，主持国家自然科学基金7项（包括重点项目“应用图论”）。曾在香港浸会凯旋官网，法国巴黎南凯旋官网，澳大利亚Newcastle凯旋官网，美国中田纳西州立凯旋官网，台湾中研院数学所等学术访问。
